Pride Day: Sunday, June 30, 2013; Chicago, Ill.
10 a.m.– Meet at the float to ride and march. Our float (No. 19) is an old-style sailing ship which will be parked on Montrose west of Broadway (east of Clifton) on the south curb. Look for Angel Abcede or Kevin Vong. You can dress up or not, but suggested themes would be ship, sailor, popcorn or flowers. You can also be ethnic in that one of our signs will read “fresh off the boat!” (Let us know if it offends you or if you find it funny.)
3:30 p.m. Thai Classic, 3332 N. Clark St. Ask to sit in the back where we can hopefully get a larger table.
5:30 p.m. Robert and Carter’s place, 5338 N. Ashland in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. Party goes until 11 p.m.
