Our monthly Asians and Friends Chicago Dim Sum falls on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, when we’ve typically held an Easter Bonnet-making afternoon with a contest and parade. Well, don’t say AFC folks can’t walk and chew Peeps at the same time. Right after our regular Dim Sum, instead of walking to our usual hangout (SoFo on Clark) we’ll head down to Max’s Place at 4621 N. Clark. The owners will have Easter Bonnet-making supplies, hat bases, glue guns and a whole tone of spring glitz to make bonnets. But feel free to bring your own for Dim Sum! Prizes will be awarded thanks to our host bar, Max’s Place. See you for the best Spring Sunday Funday!
