Happy Pride! Join us this weekend. We’ll be gathering to build our 2025 Pride Parade float on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 1-5 p.m. at Michael Nemeth’s house at 4239 S. Langley, Chicago. Then right after, we’ll have our 2025 Pride Party. Hope you can join us. Here’s the info:

Building/Decoration Time: 1-5 p.m.
Pre-Pride Party Time: 5 p.m. – Midnight
Location: Michael Nemeth’s house, 4239 S. Langley, Chicago.
Please bring food/drink to share.
Pride Parade Day:
Sun., June 29, 2025
Sign-in Time: 10 a.m.
Parade Start Time: 11 a.m.
Location: On West Sheridan east of Broadway (at 3900 N. Broadway), south curb. We will be halfway into the block before Pine Grove. We’re Float No. 95 and our side of the street will have floats 90-110. Don’t be confused by how Sheridan banks north around Sheffield and the Sheridan Red Line L stop. It runs north back into Broadway near Montrose. We will be several blocks south of that triangle. Focus on where Broadway and Sheridan intersect at 3900 N. Broadway.
Ending Location: In the past, we’ve ended up on N. Cannon Drive, north of Fullerton near the Notebaert Museum (the butterfly museum). People walk west from there to get the bus or Uber. Sometimes folks park in that area and walk to their cars.
Post-Parade Gathering at Holiday Club, 4000 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, Sun., June 29, starting at 2 or 2:30 p.m., depending on when people start to arrive. The club will set up a table in the back bar for food ($5 donation if you want to eat), and will have a D.J. Come and round out your Pride celebrations with AFC!
NEW: Choreography
We will be teaching a dance to go with our Wicked/Oz theme to anyone interested in learning. The dance is NOT a requirement for marchers. It’s a fun option, open to all. We will teach the choreography at the float-building party on Sat., June 28 at 4 p.m. at Michael’s, as well as the hour before the parade starts at our set-up location. (Marchers’ 10 a.m. call time.)
