Want to spread the love during Asian American Pacific Islander Month (it’s gonna be MAY)? Buy a colorful T-Shirt with the word “Love” in an Asian language of your choice. Part of the proceeds will help Asians & Friends Chicago and our 2022 Pride events. Our #asianlove theme will be introduced at a formal fundraising event for AFC on Sat., May 21 at 7 p.m. at the Holiday Club, 4000 N. Sheridan in Chicago, just north of the Sheridan Red Line L Stop. Suggested donation: $10, with the bar having food and drink for sale. We’ll have home-grown AFC entertainment and a runway show of outfits reflecting our float’s theme. We’ll also have a raffle of “naughty and nice” gifts going high and low. If you can’t attend either the May 21 fundraiser or the Pride Parade, please consider donating any amount.
