We’re having an outdoor/indoor Halloween Bash at Michael N.’s, 4239 S. Langley Avenue in Chicago on Saturday, October 30, 2021, starting at 5 p.m. and going until about 11 p.m. Bring food/drink to share. It’ll be one of our last live AFC events as we cautiously go into another COVID season. We’ll be watching what the city says, but let’s stay healthy but also have fun. Costumes are strongly encouraged!
Also, we still need a few more entrees (we already have lasagna, spicy pad thai and meatballs), sides, chips/dip, bottled liquor and ice. Also, for the pumpkin-carving contest, we will have five pumpkins to carve (first come, first served) and carving tools, but you can bring your own blank pumpkin or you can also enter a finished pumpkin you’ve made at home (but we will give a little more consideration to pumpkins carved on site). We have fabulous prizes for pumpkins, games and costumes (scariest, most creative and then a toss-up category). Thanks to Omar for the prizes.
