A memorial for longtime Asians & Friends Chicago member and Chicago GLBT activist Bill Kelley will be held on Sat., Aug. 1, the morning of AFC’s Anniversary Party. The memorial will start at 10 a.m. with a reception and follow with an 11 a.m. program at the Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted in Chicago. Bill passed away peacefully on May 17, according to his longtime partner Chen Ooi since 1979. We will miss Bill greatly and send our deepest sympathies to Chen.
