Our first Asians & Friends Chicago event of 2014 is our first Sunday of the month Dim Sum at Furama, 4936 N. Broadway in Chicago this Sunday, January 5 at 12:30 p.m., second-floor landing. We’ve made it a tradition to dress up in Superhero Outfits and journey to Crew for a drink afterwards, so pull out your capes and brush off that heavy snow drift and we’ll fly in for some delicious dim sum. We will also have AFC Calendars for sale (three more to break even) at $10 each–so please support AFC and get your appointments right at the same time!
We’ve also set our next Dining Club date: Thurs., Jan. 23, 7 p.m., Tank Noodle, 4953 N. Broadway, Chicago. RSVP by the Tuesday before (1/21) at (312) 409-1573.
Then of course, mark the date for our annual Chinese New Year’s dinner on Sat. Feb. 22, year of the horse!
