What begins as an innocent vacation to Hawaii and Hong Kong leads John in search of answers. He leaves a secure job as an accountant in Chicago to discover himself in Hong Kong working for intriguing Lee Kuan and becoming friends with lonely, handsome Andrew Henley. Half a year later a mysterious death occurs in St. Maarten in the French West Indies only to be resolved on the Northeast Coast of Australia several years later. The characters are predominately Asian and Caucasian men but there are fascinating women in supportive roles.
