Asians and Friends Chicago members and guests took a wild ride with a herd of handcrafted horses, country line dances and a little Hee-Haw comedy this past weekend at Furama Restaurant in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.
Attendance set a group record at 100, with raffle prizes and a Windy City Times photographer adding to the excitement of the evening.
AFC would like to thank our cast for working so hard to put together this year’s show. It’s been a blast. Year of the Horse Cast Members: Angel Abcede (Tab Razer), Adrian Abellera, Tom Browning, Elizabeth Dean, Ben Kizer, Bradley Joseph Lambie, Taiyang Liang, Rico Marante, John McInteer and Aaron Ron Sager.
We also want to thank our supporting partners, Atmosphere, Lucky Horseshoe, Max’s, North End, Touche and Windy City Times, as well as our evening’s volunteers, our Board members, our “horses,” and especially AFC Board Member Michael Nemeth for our fabulous raffle prizes and decorations.
