Asians and Friends Chicago’s 2024 Lunar New Year’s Dinner will be Saturday, February 24 at 7 p.m. at Pho Viet, 4941 N. Broadway in Chicago. Included in the evening will be a multi-course meal of Vietnamese cuisine, beer/wine, and a raffle of fabulous prizes. (We’re looking for raffle donations if you’re inclined.) A musical romp through the Dragon elements–air, fire, earth, water, and metal–will energize the crowd at our annual celebration of Asian culture (more info on our performance will come soon). And keeping in the Year of the Dragon theme, we encourage everyone to get their “drag-on” by wearing wigs, dresses, and of course, cross-dresses.
Presale: $45 to include tax and tip. Door: $55. You can BYOB, but there’s a cork fee per bottle (TBD). We’ll also have beer/wine with a donation bucket to cover cork fees.
