As the organizers of Asians & Friends Chicago events, we are deeply saddened that our plans to gather have been suspended for the next few weeks. We are watching closely all of the breaking news regarding the state of Illinois mandated efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 or the coronavirus.
We hope you stay strong and confident during this time, as we know some social stereotyping may be occurring because of where the virus first emerged. Please report any concerns to your local authorities and know that we at AFC are a resource as well.
Mostly, we want you to stay safe and healthy during this difficult time. We are concerned about both your physical and mental health, so feel free to reach out even though we are asked to physically stay home.
