11 a.m. Gather at our float on Broadway north of Montrose just south of Target/Aldi driveway on the west side of the street. Our position is No. 29. Our float’s theme is “white” but since the number of float riders we have is already too many, marchers (we’ll welcome anyone) can wear whatever they want. They’ll be able to pass out the beads and fortune cookies we have collected to the crowd. The parade will start at noon.
Afterwards, we’ll start gathering at Robert and Carter’s at 5338 N. Ashland beginning at 3 p.m. If you can get there earlier to help them set up, that would be very helpful. Also, please make sure to bring a dish or drink to share. It’s the last time Robert and Carter will be hosting an event like this, so let’s make it special.
