Safe travels and lots of love to all going to this weekend’s ifCON 2014 in Washington, D.C. Thanks in advance to our hosts and we look forward to seeing our friends from the many Asians & Friends chapters across the country and around the world. AFC’s next event is the weekend after, Sun. Sept. 7, which will be our monthly Dim Sum at Furama, 4936 N. Broadway in Chicago. We meet at 12:30 p.m. on the second floor landing. We’ll swap notes about the fun in D.C.! And then don’t forget to mark your calendars for Sat., Sept. 20, when we’ll be attending the GAM-TV preview of their latest webisode, “Break-up King: It’s Not You; It’s Me,” which was entered into the upcoming reality HBO series, “Project Greenlight,” produced by actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. You’ll be able to download the webisode on www.gamTVusa.com after they receive word on whether or not it got selected into the top 200. Cross your fingers!
