Asians & Friends Chicago has the honor of being named “Best Organization” Float in the 2014 Chicago Gay Pride Parade. Certainly a great deal of thanks needs to be given to everyone involved, including silver-coin dress designer Kevin Vong, those who coordinated our many diverse groups, the people who donated funds and certainly the individual float participants who created their own lavish costumes and yes, last but not least, float coordinator and AFC Board Pres. Angel Abcede. It was indeed a group effort and an honor to receive the award two years in a row! Here’s to 2015!
