Asians & Friends Chicago mourns the passing of member Robert J. Baldwin, who left us about a month ago after a brief illness. He was an upbeat spirit and devoted to AFC. He was a constant supporter of our events and especially Chinese New Year’s. He and his partner Allan Taono were regular attendees. Allan says there will be no memorial service for Robert, saying all of his friends know of his passing. Allan asks that we not send flowers in condolences of Robert, but instead, consider giving a donation to the Anti Cruelty Society of Chicago in Robert’s name. Robert really loved that charity and its work. Much love and support to Allan, as well as Robert’s family.
