Congratulations to Asians & Friends Chicago, Popcorn Dress designer Kevin Vong, float riders (Joel, Craig, Val, Asian Human Services and Val’s pals and their family) and everyone who donated to help AFC’s float win the prize for Best Organization in the 2013 Pride Parade (Scroll down to see photos). In addition, Kevin made the front page of today’s Chicago Tribune and the float made it to the Channel 7 Pride Parade coverage. [Another shout out to FINC, Filipinos and Friends in Chicago, which won best overall float!]
Also remember our July 4 party at Angel and Bob’s, 555 N. Artesian Unit i, just west of Western and north of Grand starts at 5 p.m. BYOB and potluck (We have cats so take your allergy medicine!). And again, congrats to AFC and its Pride Parade float win!
