Thurs., April 18: Monthly Dining Club–We resume our monthly Dining Club at King of Thai Noodles and Rice at 1129 W. Argyle St. at 7 p.m. It’s near the L Red Line stop at Argyle. It’s authentic Thai at a very inexpensive pricepoint.
Sat. April 20: Three Rivers Casino, 3000 S. River Road, Des Plaines–We’ll meet in the valet area at 7 p.m. just before you go into the turnstiles of the casino. You can drive to Des Plaines or you can make your way there via the Chicago Blue Line L train (to O’Hare) off the Rosemont stop (the last stop before O’Hare coming up from Chicago). From there, a shuttle runs every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day.
