Every year, the Chicago Department of Senior Services must conduct city-wide public hearings on the proposed Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Area Plan on Aging. This public information document describes how the Office of Senior Services proposes to deliver services to Chicagoans aged 60 and older using funds from the Older American Act and State of Illinois General Revenue Funds .
This community input will be used for testimony at this year’s public hearings and provided to the Obama White House.
