Silk Road Theater in Chicago sent AFC this note:
Our current show Durango by Julia Cho is a wonderful production that I think the members of your organization would thoroughly enjoy. The show is about a Korean American family: a father and his two sons. They take a road trip to Durango, Colorado and along the way all of their personal secrets and family issues are revealed.
Each character must make the choice between being true to themselves and keeping the family together. The youngest son comes to realize he is gay on the trip. And the audience is shown that the father is gay and in denial. This show is truly beautiful. Moving, funny, cathartic, mystical and relevant this is not a show you want to miss.
Also, if you get a group of ten or more together you save 20% off each ticket! Durango provides not only a great night out but a wonderful discussion starter as well. If you are interested in bringing a group, purchasing tickets or if you have any questions please contact me. All of my information is below.
Thanks so much!
