In addition to our regular First-Sunday-of-the-Month Dim Sum at Furama, 4936 N. Broadway in Chicago, Sun., Oct. 1, 2017 at 12:30 p.m., we’re having two additional events:
Japanese Internment Exhibit, “They Came for Me:” Sat. Oct. 7, 2017, Alphawood Gallery, 2401 N. Halsted (at Fullerton/Lincoln/Halsted corner). At 3 p.m., meet in the west entrance just north of Halsted. Free. We can talk about where to have dinner (perhaps Japanese cuisine?) during our visit.
Scaryoke Halloween Bash: Sat. Oct. 28, 2017, 7 p.m. to midnight. Mike’s place at 3207 W. Washington, Unit 4 in Chicago. We’ll be featuring Creaoke with D.J. Creagh and your fabulous voices! Beer/wine provided, but please bring food or drink to share. And costumes? Of course! Please go all out!
