Dongfang Art Dance Group cordially invites you to its Chinese Folk Dance performance on May 31st<\/sup> at the McAninch Arts Center of College of DuPage. All proceeds from this event will be donated to China Red Cross for Sichuan Earthquake Relief<\/u>. <\/font><\/p>\n

As you might know, a massive 7.9-magnitude earthquake hit southwestern China on Monday, May 12. The epicenter was Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province.\u00a0 Xinhua News Agency reported that almost 15,000 people\u00a0died from the earthquake in Sichuan and the neighboring provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, and Yunnan, and the death toll could reach far higher as the search and rescue effort continues. \u00a0It was the worst natural disaster hitting the region in the last three decades.\u00a0 The damage to\u00a0property in the vast\u00a0region is beyond estimation. <\/font><\/p>\n
