\"hottub\"<\/a>Our Anniversary Party atop a Boystown roof at the Halsted Hot Tub<\/a>, 3526 N. Halsted in Chicago, as well as a Dining Club night and of course our regular, first-Sunday-of-the-month Dim Sums highlight our summer outing plans for Asians & Friends Chicago. Here’s some important information:<\/p>\n

First Sunday of the Month Dim Sum<\/strong>: We meet for Dim Sum at Furama, 4936 N. Broadway in Chicago at 12:30 p.m., second story landing.\u00a0Upcoming dates are Sun., Aug. 2; Sept. 6 and Oct. 4.<\/p>\n

Anniversary Party<\/strong>: Saturday August 1, noon-5 p.m. at a rooftop venue in Boystown–the Halsted Hot Tub at 3526 N. Halsted just south of Addison Street in Chicago. It’s potluck and BYOB, but we will offer up some meat, wine and beer. The door should be pulled open when you get there. (Also watch for a Boystown-area, rain-date location on our website www.afchicago.org). Besides hot tub and view (bring swim trunks and a towel if you want to get wet), we’ll be discussing plans for IFCON 2016 to happen here in Chicago! It’ll also be time for dues, which will be $25 for singles and $40 for couples. You can pay cash, write checks to Asians & Friends Chicago (to give us that day or mail to us at P.O. Box A 3916, Chicago, IL 60690-3916) or soon, you can pay your dues online on our website at www.afchicago.org, under the Pay Dues tab). It’ll be a memorable time, so we’ll see you there! (Note: Rain day location will be The North End, 3733 N. Halsted, just north of the venue.)<\/p>\n

ifCON 2015 — New Orleans:<\/strong>\u00a0This year’s Asians & Friends international conference, IFCON 2015, will be in New Orleans over Labor Day weekend (during gay Southern Decadence). Visit www.ifcon2015.org.<\/p>\n
