Asians & Friends Chicago would like to invite you to our Pre-PRIDE Penthouse Party on Sat. June 21, from 2-6 p.m. Hosted by Kevin Vong (Thammavong) and John Lump (look for their names on the directory) at 1430 S. Michigan Ave. PH-I in\u00a0Chicago. It’s a formal thank-you to everyone who donated or will participate in\u00a0AFC’s\u00a02014 Pride Float (see Kevin Vong’s dress which is the centerpiece for the float below). BYOB with beer and wine provided. Bring a snack if you can. Thanks Kevin and John for hosting! Also, mark your calendars for Sat. July 12. AFC will be leading a group to see the blockbuster movie, “Transformers 4” where AFC Pres. Angel Abcede may be in it as an extra. Come back to the website for more info as the movie opens at the end of the month!<\/p>\n

And while you’re at it, pen in Sat. Aug 23 for AFC’s Anniversary Party at Steve and Ming’s party room and garden, 5801 N. Sheridan Road, from noon to 5 p.m. $25 annual\u00a0dues for single; $20 ($40) per couple.<\/p>\n
