In addition to our regular first-Sunday-of-the-month Dim Sum at Furama at 4936 N. Broadway in Chicago (Sun., March 3 at 12:30 p.m.) and our soon-to-be resurrected (April) monthly Dining Club, AFC is hosting not one, but two movie-themed events in March.<\/p>\n
The first is an impromptu potluck\/BYOB movie night at Ryan and Sukiat’s downtown Chicago highrise on Saturday, March 9 at 6:30 p.m.. It’s an RSVP event as room capacity is very limited. Then second will be a Gay Asian Male (GAM) – TV spring premiere of the webisode “Panda: Tale of a Gay Asian Bear” on Sat. March 23, 8 p.m. showing at @mosphere 5355 N. Clark in Chicago. Admission is free but DVDs of GAM-TV’s many romantic comedies, musicals and documentaries will be on sale–with proceeds going to an AIDS-awareness charity called School Street Arts Movement.
