We have mahjong this Thursday, (3/18) at Wild Pug, 4810 N. Broadway starting at 7 p.m. It goes with the Gaysia night there of drinks specials and karaoke. But we’ve also postponed the April tournament with new date TBA.
We’d also like to thank everyone who came to the Pre-Ball at the Call bar last Friday. Good times. Here’s to our May 7 Anniversary Ball!

Asians and Friends is having a promotional event this Friday, March 12, 7 p.m., at The Call bar, 1547 W. Bryn Mawr in Chicago (Andersonville neighborhood). We’ll talk about the May 7 Anniversary Ball and sell tickets. Then following that there will be a live musical performance that will serve as a preview to the entertainment planned for May 7. See everyone there!
Don’t forget to join Asians and Friends at Wild Pug tomorrow night (Thurs. 2/18) for Mahjong. The tables will be set up by 7 p.m. Vic will be there by 7:30 to help teach and then afterwards, Karaoke starts at 10! It’s 4810 N. Broadway in Chicago.
The Banyan Tree project will be hosting another “Night at the Movies” @ the Evanston Public Library on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 @ 6:30PM. It will include a screening of the film with a short discussion to follow. Furthermore, it’s a FREE event, so please tell your friends, family, colleagues, social networks, etc. Thanks again for all of your support!
