AFC Winter Events 2011-2012

AFC Dining Club, Thurs. Nov. 17, 7 p.m.

Holiday Dinner, Sat. Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.
Join us as we combine our monthly AFC Dining Club with a holiday celebration at Buca di Beppo, 521 N. Rush in Chicago. It’s full-on Italian cuisine served family style. Expect to pay between $30-$40 in that we’ll split the bill evenly that night. Bring a gift for a Secret Santa.

Dim Sum moved back a week, Sun., Jan. 8 (Due to the first Sunday being New Year’s Day) AND special “Superhero Crew Run!”
We’ll start at Furama, 4936 N. Broadway at 12:30, then go to Crew, 4804 N. Broadway, where DRESSED AS SUPERHEROS, we’ll run around the block for a free shot. This is the third year in a row AFC has enacted this event, with each year getting bigger and bigger!

Year of the Dragon: Chinese New Year’s Dinner, Sat., Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.
Asians and Friends Chicago’s annual dinner will feature a 50-50 raffle, a traditional multi-course dinner and a live cabaret performance. Phoenix Restaurant, 2nd floor, 2131 S. Archer in Chicago. Presale: $45; Door: $50. And a Thanksgiving special–people who mail in their checks to Asians and Friends Chicago, P.O. Box A 3916, Chicago, IL 60690-3916 on or before Nov. 28, 2011 can pay $40.
